Representatives from several police forces recently attended a drone sonar technology morning organised by JBUAS in the heart of the Nottinghamshire countryside.

As part of the proceedings, JBUAS and partners provided a full demonstration of their impressive QuickDip SideScan Sonar system developed for search and recovery missions. Also present, were representatives from the Environment Agency and Search and Resecue organisations. The technology morning was a great success with ample time to discuss other drone based sensors including echo sounders, turbidity sensors, and velocity profilers. Discussions also included applications for the new UgCS drone-based GPR and metal detection systems.

For more information on this brilliant sonar technology, follow this link.

On Location: Shhh… it’s a secret!
