EchoNIMBUS Multi-beam (MBES) Echosounder
The EchoNIMBUS Multi-beam (MBES) Echosounder is a compact multibeam echo sounder operating at 240 kHz for high-resolution bathymetric surveys in shallow to moderate water depths. It uses a 16-element receive array with angle-of-arrival processing to achieve sub-degree angular resolution.
The system provides an 80° cross-track swath and 4° along-track beam, capturing typically 10-15 targets per ping. A built-in IMU ensures pitch and roll compensation for accurate measurements.
High-Efficiency Bathymetric Mapping
Unlike single-beam systems, the Surveyor captures multiple depth points simultaneously, increasing survey speed and data density. Compatible software enables real-time visualisation, point cloud generation, and export in standard formats.
Flexible System Integration
The EchoNIMBUS Multi-beam (MBES) Echosounder is designed for integration with DJI M300 RTK, M350 RTK, and M400 drones, as well as other compatible UAV platforms. The system supports both Ethernet connectivity and SkyHub integration, enabling streamlined data acquisition and operational workflows. By combining high-precision IMU measurements with GNSS positioning data, the EchoNIMBUS Multi-beam (MBES) Echosounder delivers accurate, georeferenced bathymetric outputs for efficient hydrographic surveying.
