UgCS has launched their first UAV gradiometer system. The ultra-sensitive UAV gradiometer system is powered by QuSpin Gen-2 atomic total-field magnetometer sensors. Its unique design enables extremely low surface-to-sensor clearance. The spherical sensor can touch the ground or vegetation without causing the drone to crash.

Ground Penetrating Radar: New LF UAV Solution

In January 2023, JBUAS supported testing in Scotland of a new Low Frequency (LF) Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) that SPH Engineering designed for integration with the DJI M300 RTK. Our customer invested in the LF GPR system and requested help with initial configuration and testing. After a full day of flying different configurations, the team gained a clear understanding of the technology.

Workswell Thermal Imaging Cameras

JBUAS, a supplier of UAV-based sensor solutions, has signed a long-term sales agreement with EU manufacturer Workswell. JBUAS will distribute the Workswell range of thermal imaging cameras in the UK. Workswell’s ‘WIRIS Pro’ thermal camera, when combined with drone technology, is particularly useful for asset inspection, the detection of unseen leaks in gas pipes, and faults in pipe insulation. Furthermore, it can be deployed to check for damaged or faulty solar panels, or even hot side inspections found within the oil & gas sector.
